When nurses thrive, everyone wins.
Sharexchange is a game-changing solution for nurse burnout — ultimately helping reduce staffing costs and improve patient outcomes. Created by a critical care float nurse, this app provides an alternative to high-cost external staffing. When your hospital enrolls, your nurses get access to short-term 1:1 job exchanges while you get staffing continuity, knowledge sharing, and expert clinicians. Sharexchange is the only app built to help nurses thrive.
How It Works
A simple, thorough process ensures ease of use for nurses and safe protocols for health-system partners.
STEP 1
Enroll your Hospital
Review our services and opt in to have your hospital added to our list of participating providers. Job exchanges are open to enrolled hospitals only
STEP 2
Choose your Units
Let us know which nursing units you'd like to include for enrollment. Choose as many as you'd like, keeping in mind that nurses are matched 1:1 according to their specialty.
STEP 3
Initiate Exchanges
When staff nurses sign up and find a match, they'll send a request to management. Upon approval by managers at both hospitals, nurses complete an HR orientation and the exchange is underway.
FINALLY
Enrichment Begins
Through the exchange, nurses embrace knowledge-sharing in a new environment so they can return to their unit refreshed and armed with new insights. The net benefit is staff retainment, thriving nurses, and improved patient outcomes.
High Retention
Healthier Outcomes
Enriching, Fulfilling, Cost-effective — Everyone wins.

-
Home-hospital pay rules continue to apply. Host-site differentials (e.g., specialty or shift differentials) are negotiated as part of the exchange agreement.
-
4–12 weeks determined by the nurses, endorsed by their nursing leadership.
-
The nurse remains your employee throughout. The exchange is a defined, time-bound assignment. This is not a transfer or resignation.
-
It helps. Variety and short-term mobility are top drivers of travel-nurse defection. Exchange gives your nurses that flex without losing them to an agency.
-
Participating hospitals and medical centers are visible on our site.
-
Nurses match on the app → managers of both units approve → match is confirmed. Either manager can decline at any step.
